    Hi JP!

First of all, this is Allie from Chip’s IBL class. How are you?

I’ve been following your blog (which I really enjoy, by the way–I think the latest project, the bees, are such a great idea!) and I have a favor I want to ask you. My partner and I are renting a little house in Champaign, and we just moved in last week. For the first time, we have a backyard to speak of, which we are really excited about. However, right now it consists of three things: 1. broken glass 2. dirt and 3. weeds. We’d really like to plant some grass, and maybe a garden (that would come later, we just want to make it usable and safe for the dog right now).

We’ve been making a list of supplies we’ll need to get started (seed, a tiller, a hose and the like) and we really can’t afford to purchase all the supplies ourselves. I was wondering if there was an chance that la casa had a tiller that we might borrow to get up all the weeds so we could plant. We could arrange a time, and I really don’t think we’d need it for more than a day or two. I could offer cookies for you and your housemates in exchange 🙂

Let me know what you think: alexandra.cavallaro@yahoo.com

I hope you are enjoying your summer!
